Despite
periodic rise and fall, the US Dollar remains the de facto trade medium in intercontinental
exchanges. To avoid confusion we only list in this currency medium. Click the
buttons next to the Asking
Price*
fields to
American dollars to another currency. You can do multiple conversions and then hit the
at
the upper right to close the converter. This function is on the other end as
well — when the buyer browses your listings he is able to convert dollars
to his currency. |

Create a Business For Sale Listing |
When creating
a business listing fill
in all fields that
apply. The more information you provide, the more a
buyer is able to give serious consideration to your offering.
- If you look at the search businesses page you will
see the same fields to select from. The more fields that match
between seller and buyer the greater value the lead is. Below are some important
points for your attention.
Understanding the Location Input Fields
- : All
US or Canadian states are displayed in the state menu box when you select one
of those two countries. We are also aware that many countries
are not divided into states. This field is not required. Ireland, for example,
does not have states, postal codes or zip codes. In a situation like this, Country
and City will do just fine.
-
If you are from an unlisted country, enter it here. If you would like to include
your province or county do so here. This field is not required.
- In
countries without states, the city and coiuntry are all you need to provide.

- This
is important. Just like in a newspaper, you want to grab maximum attention with
the least possible words - "Busy gas station with car wash in Montreal business
district."
-
This
is where you can use more words to convey all the advantages of your business
to the prospect. Tell them all the details needed to arouse interest in your
offering.
-
Are you the owner or are you brokering this sale for a client?
- This
is for brokers who have the item in question listed elsewhere
and want to synchronize it with their network. If you are an owner, representing
yourself - disregard this field, it is not required or relevant in your case.
The rest of the form is self explanatory -
use only truthful responses. Falsely inflating value, or extreme mitigation
of liabilities will waste your time as well as that of the prospective buyer.
